Read the local press

Hey folks, I'm trying to promote the independent press in Minneapolis.  It's really good, its critical, it gets into the stuff we don't see in the StarTribune.  Please take a look.  There is one publication that isn't online yet.  The Northeaster.  Its the newspaper for Northeast Minneapolis and they do a really good job of covering things North of East Hennepin.  If you get a chance, pick one up while you're reading the Observer, Angle, Spokesman-Recorder and whatever else is on your docket. 

For anyone who thinks this is a shameless pitch, well, it is.  It's been my job for five years to promote alternative view points at Utne, and these publications all do the job very well.  Pick them up, pull them out of the mailbox, go online, and support their advertisers.  Let the advertisers know that the independent press in Minneapolis is vital.
